David E. Gates
David Gates was named president of the Mississippi Division in May 2007. Gates served as vice president of Operations for the Kentucky/Mid-States Division from 2003 to 2007. Previously he was vice president of Operations for the West Texas Division.
Gates joined Atmos Energy in 1991 as a manager of engineering and later became vice president of Technical Services in the West Texas Division. Gates holds a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from Texas Tech University and is a licensed Professional Engineer.
